- God's Annoying Love
- Have I crossed Jesus one too many times?
- Is God's grace conditional?
- Is God's grace limited?
- I know that God loves me, why do I have a hard time believing that he actually likes me?
- Why is it that I feel as if God is going to take back His love?
Maybe your mind is constantly overwhelmed with these hopeless questions and thoughts. These thoughts leave you with a high pressure feeling that your sin outweighs your grace. In some way it is hard to fathom and put my mind around the sticky, un-fair love that God has for me. But when his unfairness includes you and me, who wants to argue? His love will not leave us alone. It is not limited. In our finite mind it is hard to understand that His love is for us just as much as it is for everyone else.
The battle is on. Resist his love, try to ignore it, run from it or hide from it. Honestly, you can't. God's love is extremely persistent. God's love will never run out. As soon as you give up, God will bombard you with His amazing love. God's love is irresistible and has no limits and is not conditional. It does not account for how much you have failed or misrepresented Him. His love will not leave you alone and you do not want it to.
